Fellowship Health Resources will host a “Celtic Coffee House Fundraiser” on Friday, March 9, from 7-10 p.m. at the Celtic Coffee House, 42 North Water Street, New Bedford, MA. This event will showcase some of FHR's artists and will benefit Studio 35, FHR’s agency-wide healing arts and music recovery program.
Fellowship Health Resources has hired Cumberland resident Debra Paul as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at the Administrative headquarters in Lincoln. Prior to FHR, Paul worked at Women and Infants Hospital for 13 years, serving as CFO for six of those years.
Fellowship Health Resources held a “Meet the Board Luncheon” in the Fall River Region on Monday, March 5. Board Chairperson Bill Emmet and FHR President/CEO Joe Dziobek participated in this discussion with persons served and employees from Fall River, New Bedford, and Cape Cod Regions.
Fellowship Health Resources is introducing a brand new program in Maine known as PhotoVoice. With the help of four University of Maine art students, this program is part of FHR’s creative recovery model, Studio 35. The first class was March 9, from 1-2 p.m. Classes will also be held on March 23 and April 6.
As part of Mental Health Awareness Day, staff from multiple mental health and substance abuse organizations, including Fellowship Health Resources, dressed in green and visited state legislators at the State House to advocate for increased funding for services.
