FHR is making strides in health and wellness by launching its agency-wide healthy eating and fitness program, Shape Up with FHR. This program is sponsored by FHR all year, enabling staff and persons served to participate free of charge.
This winter, for the first time ever, the state of Massachusetts will offer a federally-approved and nationally-promoted behavioral healthcare prevention education program. FHR, in collaboration with Vinfen, will launch the first offering of Whole Health Action Management (WHAM).
As snow quickly accumulated to reach near-record levels and winds howled, tens of thousands lost heat and electricity. Meanwhile, in Cape Cod, Fall River, New Bedford, and Rhode Island, staff of FHR remained steadfast, delivering extraordinary care.
At the Green Bean, art is hung over tables, displaying local creative talent. During the months of January and February, this trendy neighborhood coffee shop hosted an especially inspirational collection of artwork. Located on 740 Purchase Street, the Green Bean shared pieces created by FHR's Studio 35 artists in recovery.
