Fellowship Health Resources, Inc. is hosting a benefit drive at the Kinsale Inn at 35 Water Street in Mattapoisett on Thursday, December 8, from 5-11 p.m. Donations made at this event, as well as throughout the month of December, will benefit FHR persons served in the New Bedford Region.
Members of FHR Virginia enjoyed a night out in the nation’s Capital for the National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. Virginia Regional Director Larry Ferguson obtained four tickets to the holiday spectacular, enabling two ICRT Program staff and two persons served to attend the event at the National Mall.
The Rehabilitation and Recovery Group made several pairs of paper mittens to hang on a tree that they made during the Studio 35 art class with twigs from outdoors. Their goal is to replace all the paper mittens with real mittens, gloves, hats, and scarves to donate to the Lighthouse Outreach in Fall River.
Mental Health Counselor and Case Manager Ryan Starkey of FHR Maine was recognized for his contributions to the actions and growth of a consumer.
Individuals from Fellowship Health Resources can be found ringing bells for the Salvation Army at local grocery stores and shopping malls during this holiday season.
